If you’re new to affiliate marketing and haven’t made any money online, you should set a goal for yourself to make your first $100 online in 30 days. I hear that there’s a great program that helps you do this called the 30-day Challenge. I’ve heard lots about this but haven’t actually used myself.

I made my first $100 online by promoting Project Payday on Craigslist. I didn’t have any money to promote the program on Adwords, so I posted ads on craigslist, which is free. The crazy thing about this is that I only set a goal for myself to make $100 in a month but I made $100 in about 10 days. This happened for me back in 2007.

Goals are great because they keep you motivated to work. You also work harder than if you didn’t have any goals. Even if you don’t meet your goals all the time, you will have definitely learned something from each experience that will make you a better marketer.

1. Use the targeted keyword in your ad as much as possible. Include it in the title, description and the URL. Now, for the URL, adwords won’t allow you to make up a fictious website name anymore like they used to. But, you can make up a fake subdomain name. For example: http://money.effbomb.com. The keyword will show up in bold letters and should help you to catch more eyeballs.

2. Capitalize the first letter of every word in the Ad. Google won’t allow ads in ALL CAPS so capitalizing every first letter will have to suffice.

3. Make use of special characters. I try to use these as much as possible. A lot of people don’t use these, but I know first-hand that it’ll draw more attention to your ad. Use characters like these: ? & $ @ % #

These should help you increase your click-thru-rate.

CPA networks have been gaining a lot of buzz lately. Basically, you send traffic to a CPA offer and get paid for the desired action that the visitor takes. For example, you may get a CPA offer where all you have to do is get the person’s zip code. And if you do, you get paid a commission. But it won’t be much, maybe $1 or $2.

Now, it is true that you won’t make as much per desired action as you would with clickbank products, but your conversion rate for CPA offers will be much higher.

Why?

Because you don’t have to sell crap to get paid. With clickbank, you only get paid when someone buys something. How easy is it to get someone to fill in their e-mail address or their zip code?

Another thing about CPA offers thats great is that you don’t have to worry about refunds. For those of you who don’t know, Clickbank will hold a certain amount of commissions that you make for 6 pay periods. They eventually give it to you but its still YOUR money.

CPA offers definitely have an edge over Clickbank and If you wanna stay ahead of the curve in internet marketing, then I suggest you start promoting some CPA offers….

Well, I think that all of those things come into play at some point but the MOST important thing is believing in what you can do. If you believe in something that you can do, then you will take action on it. That action will lead to things happening for you.

You don’t have to take my word for it because I’m not making $10,000/day yet, but I believe I will in due time. I did find a really great video tho from some guys who are making well over $10,000/day and I thought you all should see it.
